Day 1: Yogyakarta – Mendut and Pawon temple

Meet and greet with our tour manager at Yogyakarta international airport, enjoy lunch with Indonesian cuisine before starting the journey. Visit the Mendut Temple and monastery, then check in a hotel near the Borobudur Temple area for relaxing.  

Day 2: Borobudur temple – Tea garden 

Start this day by exploring the Borobudur Temple, with a climb to the top led by a knowledgeable tour guide. Back to the hotel to check out and heading to the Dieng Plateau area. Visit the scenic tea garden before check in at the photogenic villa and stay overnight. 

Day 3: Dieng Plateau tour  

Wake up early morning for hiking Sikunir hill to catch the golden sunrise moment. Next, explore the Sikidang crater is an active volcanic geothermal spot in Dieng Plateau. Enjoy the colour lake from above, and the Arjuna temple will complete the Dieng plateau tour before heading to Yogyakarta. 

Day 4: Jomblang cave  – Prambanan temple 

Start from the hotel after breakfast to Jomblang Cave for adventure time. Descent approximately 50 meters and trekking inside to the cave for the main spot called “light from heaven”. Enjoy the lunch with local food and afterward to Prambanan temple as the largest Hindu temple in Indonesia, for the sunset. 

Day 5: Leisure – transfer out airport 

Leisure and relax this day before transferring to the airport as finish the Dieng Plateau Tour.
