Full description

Day 1: Surabaya Pick-Up – Transfer to Mount Bromo Area

Your adventure begins with a pick-up in Surabaya (airport, train station, or hotel). After a short briefing, we drive approximately 3 hours to Cemoro Lawang Village, the gateway to Mount Bromo, passing scenic roads and the Java highway. En route, we can stop for lunch at a local restaurant. Upon arrival, check in and relax at your hotel to prepare for the next day’s sunrise tour.

Day 2: Mount Bromo Sunrise Tour – Transfer to Banyuwangi (Ijen Area)

Wake up early at 02:00 AM for an exciting Mount Bromo sunrise tour by 4WD Jeep. Enjoy the spectacular sunrise from a famous viewpoint between 04:30 – 05:30 AM, while sipping a warm cup of coffee or tea. Continue the adventure across the Sea of Sand and hike up 250 steps to the Bromo crater rim for panoramic views of the volcanic caldera. After returning to the hotel, enjoy breakfast, take a shower, and check out. We then drive about 5 hours to Banyuwangi, the closest city to Mount Ijen, and check in at your hotel for rest.

Day 3: Ijen Crater Midnight Hike – Blue Flame & Sunrise – Drop-Off

Start the day at midnight with a transfer to Paltuding, the starting point for the Mount Ijen hike. After a safety briefing, begin the 1.5-hour trek to see the rare blue flame phenomenon, a natural wonder visible only at night. After capturing this unique sight, continue to the summit to witness a breathtaking sunrise over the turquoise crater lake and the rim of Ijen’s massive caldera. Descend back to the base, enjoy breakfast, then transfer to Ketapang Port for Bali connection or return to Surabaya for your departure.
